Turlock

Founded by John Mitchell on December 22, 1871 , the City of Turlock was incorporated in 1908 and was considered a prosperous community. It then consisted of three hotels, one restaurant, three merchandise stores, a drug store and several other retail establishments. Today, Turlock is a growing community of 67,000 plus and the second largest community in the Stanislaus River Valley.

Turlock is at the center of many of California’s premier destinations such as San Francisco , Yosemite National Park , the state capitol in Sacramento , the beaches and Nevada .
