Patterson

Patterson is a growing community strategically located in the western part of the Stanislaus River Valley near Interstate 5. The City derives much of its economic vitality from agriculture, food processing, and distribution. It is also home to a rapidly expanding business park.

The City’s street layout, inspired by the great metro areas of Paris and Washington D.C. , features a circular format in the central district surrounded by radiating spokes. Patterson is also noted for its numerous trees, especially its palm-lined main thoroughfares. In recognition of its agricultural heritage, the City is home to the Apricot Fiesta early each June.
